Last month I started a Masters degree. I’d been thinking about it for a long time before deciding as it’s a commitment. English Lit. This means progress on my personal work has slowed quite a bit. I’m doodling a lot though. I always have but currently I’m doing it all the time and on everything. Six o’clock had passed when I walked deep into the streets of London. I knew their meeting would happen in Charing Cross Road so I turned into Shaftesbury Avenue. Just before it started to get dark, I identified the building. Red neon letters. Foyles.
